for creating your own contests:
Personal Focus Group:
Let's say
you are an artist and want to
know other people's opinions
about your creative work (songs,
lyrics, drawings, paintings,
poetry, photography, etc.)
You will create a contest and
fill the contest with your own
submissions, say a few different
versions of the same song,
different color schemes for the
same drawing, etc. and ask
people to pick their favorites.
The results will help you to
pick your most popular work
before you start marketing it
more widely. SizzleFizzle
will also provide you with
"real-time demographic data" of
the voters which will show you
the aggregated gender, age
group, and geographic location
of people who liked your work.
Create Your Own Community:
Some
of you can be very good contest
editors, coming up with the
wildest and most exciting
contest ideas. We already
know that because of some of the
ideas that you have sent us.
As you create popular contests
that are filled quickly your
contests will become more and
more popular and before you know
it you will have your own
community of contestant and
voting followers.
Create a fun and challenging
space for your friends and
family:
Create private
contests with themes that your
friends and family can
participate in. For
example, best photos from your
last fraternity, sorority, or
family reunion party; most
popular (or disliked!) cousin or
school friend, who should become
your high school's prom King or
Queen, ... you get the
idea!
Prediction Contests:
Setup contests where your
circles of friends or family can
predict the outcome of a
favorite event. For
example, your school's next
soccer or basketball game; the
outcome of your best friend's
blind date (ouch!), your
community or city's local
events, etc.

Note that the key
factor here is to create
contests that get filled quickly
and get started. If the
contests you create stay open
for long and do not get filled
quickly, those contests get
automatically deleted by the
SizzleFizzle system.
